Systems Analyst

Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes or systems. Assists in post-implementation support and system enhancements. Deploys the release of new technologies as well as designs, installs, configures, maintains and performs system integration testing of software and/or hardware. Responsible for troubleshooting problems reported by users. Provides new software and/or hardware specifications to users based.
Gathers, compiles and synthesizes information in regards to technology processes
Supports system solutions requiring research and analysis
Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products.
Provides new software and/or hardware specifications to users
Responsible for pre- and post-implementation product support.
Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.
Minimum (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; OR equivalent work experience.
1-5 years of systems analysis/programming experience.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Proven ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Demonstrated knowledge of business areas and ability to resolve problems
Knowledge of healthcare order and distribution systems and/or healthcare finance systems.
Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
