Summary:
Promote sales of Cummins, ReCon, Onan, and other parts and equipment by promptly and accurately handling customer inquiries and parts orders, both in person and via telephone, in a customer focus and sales orientation. Functions include inventory ordering, receiving, stocking, pulling, and reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers.
Must be committed to delivering awesome customer service.
Responsible for receiving, stocking, picking and shipping.
Assist with packing and unpacking of parts.
Respond quickly to technicians parts requests.
Research and locate other products that complement Cummins parts.
Run various inventory reports to maintain the proper inventory levels.
Monitor warranty coverage at time of over-the-counter sales.
Sell our products and services; up sell, when possible.
Professional handling of phone calls and counter sales, as needed.
Drive company vehicle to pick-up and deliver parts.
Unload company truck as needed or assigned.
Operate forklift.
Complete supplied training programs as required.
Effectively communicate one-on-one and in small groups with employees, customers, managers, vendors and the public.
Must keep work area clean, safe and organized.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Customer focused.
Ability to multi-task and follow tasks through completion.
Able to function effectively, and efficiently, without constant supervision.
Sales oriented, taking responsibility for parts sales.
Knowledge of purchasing, ordering and receiving and stocking.
Fork lift certification.
Education/
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
Two to four years of diesel parts experience.
Experience researching and cataloging of parts.
Basic familiarity with automotive parts.
Experience in inventory management.
Experience with engines, mechanics, and repair services.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.
Ability to deliver awesome customer service on a consistent basis.
Ability to accurately manage part numbers and other details.
Ability to multi-task.
Familiarity and proficiency with parts procurement.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving.
Use of basic hand tools.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to effectively communicate one-on-one and in small groups with employees, customers, managers, vendors and the general public.
Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Familiarity with Windows-based software.
Legible handwriting.
Current, valid drivers license.
Ability to travel to customer locations.
Parts product knowledge.
CDL preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
