Description
PCM's client is implementing a new authoring system for the distribution of technical publications. They are looking for an experienced Digital Production Leader to provide support for the current DVD based system and to assist in the implementation of the new publishing system.
Deliverables:
o Prepare technical publications for publishing by performing all necessary steps to successfully generate DVD and Web Publications.
o Ensure quality process is followed and documented
o Meet publication schedule requirements.
o Troubleshoot / resolve errors during publication process
o Coordinate with Business and IT teams as required
o Manage DVD replication and distribution process with supplier
o Communicating a bi-weekly project status report to review the accomplishments, issues, enhancements, etc.
Key Experience and Characteristics:
o 2 years' experience using web publishing processes
o 1 year experience in DVD creation and distribution processes
o Strong attention to detail and quality focus
o Good communication skills with experience in both project management reporting and interfacing with technical publication application owners
o Works well within a team environment
